Sunnybrae Farm
Our overall goal with the Sunnybrae Farm project was to keep a farmhouse look but add modern amenities.
Our overall goal with the Sunnybrae Farm project was to keep a farmhouse look but add modern amenities.
This gut renovation was a design and build. We started with an architect’s plans and then worked hand in hand with the homeowner, providing our design expertise, to get the plans exactly how he wanted them. We installed a new HVAC system and added radiant floors throughout. We took a poorly renovated garage, and removed the ceiling to open it up to cathedral ceilings. This allows natural light to pour into the new living room, which is open to the newly renovated chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry - this cabinetry was made by local artisans and is found throughout the house.
We built an addition to include both a master and guest suite. Each with their own beautiful new bathroom. Upstairs we converted two small bedrooms into one larger room, exposed existing 24 inch wide original pine floors, and installed a modern bathroom in an formerly unfinished attic area.
While doing the renovation we managed the property, including new landscaping, refurbishing a gunite pool, adding a beautiful new stone patio, and building an outdoor living room with screen walls and radiant floors.
