You couldn't put more love into a tiny space. This guest house was created from a small, rotting old barn sitting on rubble. We had to lift it up, put a foundation under it, and rebuild most of the lower walls.

The finish details inside were meant to disappear, such as trimless doors, windows, and base. Since we kept the old siding, you almost can't tell that it is a new space inside. The floors and stairs were made from reclaimed lumber, mostly taken from the old floor boards.
